Why isn't someone talking on their cellphone about their sex life, or medical problems - in a bank (while interacting with a teller!), NOT disturbing the peace? And why don't store owners and bank tellers report them?
How simple-minded must one be to care about what people say in Starship Troopers?
Destroyed? How about if you found that you'd been fired, and all of your friends had abandoned you, because of one ill-chosen phrase, wouldn't you think your life had been rather badly damaged?
